Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on November 18th, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her athletic abilities while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks following her very first tryout. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. She then attended at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she defended the title in front of her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium throughout her competitions during the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
