Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best recognized for her roles on the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Her performance in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to attract her interest. However it was her role as women's rights activists Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind has also been praised for the role she performed in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground.
