Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy, is a rapper, singer and a music producer, best known for his single 'One Night'. His real name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is popularly known as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. Two mixtapes, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat" led him to become an international household name. But this wasn't his first attempt at singing. His first fame came in August of 2015 with his two singles 'One Night' and 'Minnesota'. Both of these were part the debut EP (Extended Play) named 'Summer songs'. His current label roster includes  Capital Records as well as a  QCM and 'Motown Records. Yachty has worked with a variety of notable rappers, like 'D.R.A.M.' and "Chance The Rapper.. Yachty is also selling his own merchandise on his official website. There are also glimpses of Yachty's personal life on the site, and also information on the forthcoming concerts and tour dates for Yachty. This website and Yachty's social media pages provide an abundance of information about Yachty's music, as well as his daily life. Lil Yatchy was a student at Pebblebrook High School and was employed at McDonald's. There he met fellow aspiring rappers. Yachty was attending Alabama State University to graduate and then he left after just two months. Since his adolescent period, Yachty was inspired by music that was unique and defied the conventional wisdom. He was influenced by his father, who shared with him many styles of music. He adopted the nickname "Yachty", and moved from Atlanta in Georgia to New York in 2015 to follow his dream of becoming a successful musician. He stayed with his friend in New York and searched for opportunities to get into the music business. He also started to network with street fashion bloggers and built a large number of followers on Instagram. He formed a partnership with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) and his primary collaborator, K$upreme. The trio is collectively referred to as "The Saling Team' and worked in Lil Yachty's studio. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of the hit track 'Minnesota' was the first time he had a major hit. Lil Yachty's breakthrough moment was through his song "1Night". The video was released online, and quickly went viral. The SoundCloud version that he sang "One Night" became a meme The media flocked to him.
