Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix displayed an early talent for athletics when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that time. After a few weeks of the first trial she took the sport, she finished 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003 and signed with Adidas a contract as professional athlete. Following that, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. The first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three places in all her events.
